Overall good hotel and met expectations
As expected, it didn't exceed or fall short of my expectations, I expect Holiday Inns to be good overall. Friendly staff and although some appeared inexperienced they tried their best to help with whatever queries they got. Everything in the room was 4-star standard fitted with everything you will need, toiletries were all Dove, albeit some of the finishes were a little dated but it was a clean and overall a modern hotel. The bed was really comfortable which makes a big difference to me. The reception and seated areas were a good place to sit, windows looking out on the busy area. The location is good next to the train station, so good access to the tram network and metro, modern Kamppi shopping centre to right, esplanade park down to the harbour is close by. Tip - get the HSL app, great for getting around, placing the cross on the map wherever you want to go (to save knowing place names) from current location, you can also buy various tickets on it.
Nothing really. I didn't have breakfast as it sounded expensive although I've no doubt it is probably good. Prices were maybe a little high compared to other hotels when I was there but rather than a single / small double room it was 2 singles and a big room, not really needed for me, maybe there are smaller rooms and they just weren't available. Not a great view, a lightwell / back area but didn't matter.

Very good hotel! Located near the train station, transportation is very convenient.
Breakfast was great!The hotel is very close to the train station and there are supermarkets nearby which is very convenient.
The only drawback is that the view from the window is to the back of the building.
